Lonnie Beals (Elvis Presley) is a singing cowboy who takes on temporary work to earn money before rodeo season. He works at an all-female health spa and, of course, quickly becomes a celebrity among the clients. When Lonnie learns that the physical trainer Pam Merritt (Jocelyn Lane) holds a treasure map leading to gold in the ghost town of Silverado, Lonnie and Pam set off looking for the treasure. But, others are plotting to steal the treasure map, and a showdown is destined to occur in Silverado. Elvis' songs "Put the Blame on Me," "I'm Yours," "Long, Lonely Highway," and "It Feels So Right" contribute to the enjoyment of the film.
