The experiment went awry for Dr. North (David Naughton), and the mutated bees meant for healing actually turned out to have a deadly virus that could threaten the Earth. Terrorist Ezekial (Rutger Hauer) has his eyes on the bees to help his own cause. When the plane carrying the bees to New York hits bad weather and the container breaks open, the "fun" begins.
