In the 1930s, Sing (Stephen Chow) pretends to be a gang leader in Pig Sty Alley–a poor section of Shanghai. Sing's actions arouse the notorious Axe Gang, which then tries to take control of the village. But the effort won't be easy, since many of Pig Sty Alley's residents are former kung fu fighters who are not about to sit by and allow the gang to take over their village.
