Joe, without a job, sets out to take care of the criminals himself. A tough crime caper that provides a good expose of the underworld scene.

They deposit the body at the airport, but Ed's brother Andy (John Dall), who just happens to be a homicide detective, discovers the cover-up. Ed and Lois flee to the abandoned Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. The police track them down and arrest them. Ed's trial begins, and he faces the fact that Lois has captivated her lawyer, and Ed is now out of her life.

When the agency sends out Estelle Novick (Gia Scala) to interview Isolde and Augie, their neighbor Dick (Gig Young) hits on her, and Estelle decides that Augie is not a good candidate for fatherhood. Augie decides to change Estelle's mind by taking her out to dinner. Matters get out of hand, and Augie wakes up in a motel room with a hangover. Nine months later, the agency tells Augie and Isolde that they have a baby for them. The baby bears a striking resemblance to Augie. Is there more to this than meets the eye?
