  Expert swordsman Kronos (Horst Janson) has lost his wife and child to vampires and is determined to put an end to them, so he takes his swords and goes on a crusade across Europe with his hunchbacked partner Grost (John Cater) to rid the world of those nasty beings. They arrive at the Durward estate where they meet the sickly Lady Durward (Wanda Ventham) and her children Paul and Sara (Shane Briant and Lois Daine), and the sword fights against the vampires begin.

Rescued by a Frenchman (Philippe Noiret), Murphy is taken to a hospital where he is nursed back to health by Dr. Hayden (Sian Phillips, O'Toole's wife at the time). Now it is time to revenge the sinking by the U-Boat.
