  Lord Edward Whitman (Vincent Price) leads a witch-hunt and massacres many witches. Their leader, Oona (Elisabeth Bergner), then puts a curse on Whitman and his entire family. Using her occult powers, Oona summons a demon that takes the form of Roderick (Patrick Mower) who then takes the job of stable boy working for the Whitman family. Roderick falls in love with Whitman's daughter Maureen (Hilary Heath), which sets off tragic events involving both the witches and the Whitman family, and Oona gets her revenge.

  A voodoo curse has caused Sir Edward Markham's (Alistar Williamson) face to be terribly disfigured, and his brother Julian (Vincent Price) keeps Edward locked in the attic. As his means of escape, Edward gets help from witch doctor N'Galo (Harry Baird) who gives him medicine to make him appear dead. But, N'Galo has double-crossed him, and Edward is put in a coffin and buried. Grave robbers retrieve him, and his "body" is taken to anatomist Dr. Neuhardt (Christopher Lee) who revives him, and now Edward goes on a killing spree seeking revenge for his betrayal.

  Emily Bronte's story is narrated by servant girl Nellie (Judy Cornwell) who relates the story of star-crossed lovers Cathy (Anna Calder-Marsh) and Heathcliff (Timothy Dalton). The tale begins when Mr. Earnshaw (Harry Andrews) brings home orphaned Heathcliff. Mr. Earnshaw's son Hindley (Julian Glover) hates Heathcliff, but his sister Cathy looks on Heathcliff as a soul mate and loves him. After, Mr. Earnshaw dies, Cathy and Heathcliff grow up and fall in love. But, Cathy marries wealthy neighbor Edgar Linton (Ian Ogilvy). Meanwhile, Heathcliff, who has left, returns a wealthy man, and Hindley gambles away Wuthering Heights to him. Now, Cathy finds that she has not been able to forget Heathcliff, and even death cannot part them.    1 User Review

accurate to most of the books plot,could have gone on a bitbird 01/24/2007 
  great dialogue! great location and true to the novel many scenes took place in the kitchen.
