Teenagers searching for a brother are caught in a storm and arrive at Infant Island where the terrorist organization Red Bamboo has been kidnapping villagers from Mothra Island and holding them captive. The Red Bamboo are in control of a giant monster shrimp, Ebirah, that protects them. After finding Godzilla lying dormant in a cave, the teenagers revive him, and, once again, Godzilla comes to the rescue. Godzilla kills the giant shrimp, and Mothra arrives in time to rescue the islanders.
