Henderson) and tells him that if he will release Wolf from prison, the two of them can bring in the gang. Now, it is up to the governor to make a big decision.

He straightens things out, arrests the guilty culprits, and promises Marion that he will return.

Meanwhile, Dusty is hiding in a mine where Zanti is shackled, but Zanti escapes. Now, John tracks Zanti into the desert where Zanti drinks poisoned water and dies. By story's end, John captures the other gang members, becomes the new marshal, and marries Ruby.
