  In this satire on the Arthur Conan Doyle story, Sherlock Holmes (Peter Cook) and Dr. Watson (Dudley Moore) encounter Dr. Mortimer (Terry-Thomas) who tells them about a curse on the male Baskerville family heirs. Dr. Watson arrives at Baskerville Hall to investigate and stays with the heir, Sir Henry Baskerville (Kenneth Williams), while Holmes searches for a way to relieve his tensions. Meanwhile, Watson looks for clues, but it will be Holmes who finally solves the case.
