Dangerfield steals the show.

Then, after Caesar is killed, she turns her attentions to Caesar's rival, Marc Antony (Henry Wilcoxon), and enters into a romance destined for tragedy.

Other tales involve Charlton Heston and Betty Hutton, whose egos must be overcome to attain love. Look for Bing Crosby and Bob Hope as spectators in the grandstand. The film was also won an Academy Award for Best Writing and was nominated for three others, including Best Director.
