This story initiated a series of four "G-Man" films starring Conrad Nagel and Eleanor Hunt as FBI agent Alan O'Connor and reporter Bobbie Reynolds. O'Connor works with the Immigration Department to track down a group of smugglers bringing in Oriental aliens while using a movie studio as the cover. Followed in 1937 by "Navy Spy," The Gold Racket," and "Bank Alarm."
