On Valentine's Day, an explosion killed coal miners working in the mine near the town of Valentine Bluffs. One year later, Harry Warden (Peter Cowper), who had survived the explosion, gets even by killing his two supervisors who were not present during the explosion because they were partying at the annual Valentine's Day dance. Warden's actions serve as a warning to stop the tradition of the Valentine's Day dance. Now, it is 20 years later, and a group of teenagers decide that too many years have passed and they plan to hold another Valentine's Day dance. This sets off the appearance of a murdering maniac who violently kills the town's teenagers. Has Harry Warden returned to punish the teens for not listening to his warning?

After his parents (Terry O'Quinn and Donwen Mantel) die in a mysterious car crash, Leon's (David Hewlett) father's medical dummy "Pin" becomes a fantasy in his mind. As he grows up, Leon treats Pin as a member of the family and becomes obsessed with the dummy. The fixation grows until it reaches the point of violence in which Leon and Pin get rid of anyone who enters their own private world. A good psychological thriller.
