The film received and Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.

The mystical adventures begin for the girls who learn much about life in the process. Wonderful animation and a sure hit for the children. An English-dubbed version is also available.

  Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's story "The Little Mermaid," this tale is about five-year-old Sosuke (voice of Frankie Jonas) who lives with his mother Lisa (voice of Tina Fey) on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Sosuke finds a goldfish in a bottle on the beach, takes the fish home, and names her Ponyo (voice of Noah Lindsey Cyrus). Ponyo makes use of her father Fujimoto's (Liam Neeson) magical powers and turns herself into a young girl. Now, Fujimoto uses his powers to send huge waves across the ocean in search of Ponyo, and the adventures begin.

Now, Ashitaka must attempt to bring peace between humanity and nature.
