permitted me to go to a 'Movie Preview", that is a preview pre-release, to get
an idea of how the movie might be received. I was 6 yrs old (and with a friend),
saw the movie. I thought it was great. Got to meet Virginia Bruce, and I think
I saw Bruce Cabot. I also remember the auto used in the movie by Mr. Cabot

Director: Lloyd Bacon Cast: James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart, Rosemary Lane, Donald Crisp, Ward Bond, Harvey Stephens, Hugh Sothern, Charles Middleton, Edward Pawley, Trevor Bardette
This is an odd movie. Cagney is the good guy and Bogey is the villain in this Western saga. Cagney is a feared gunman who seeks revenge on the men who hanged his innocent father. A highlight of the film is the interlude when Cagney sings "I Don't Want to Play in Your Yard" accompanied by a honky-tonk piano and a pair of six-shooters.
