Now, the story skips back-and-forth between the present and the past, and, in the process, Batman discovers a link between Andrea and the crime villain. The Joker (Mark Hamill) steps in and uncovers the fact that Andrea is the Phantasm, and she is out to avenge her father's (Stacey Keach) murder. Batman arrives on the scene, a battle ensues, and Batman's name is cleared.

He agrees to smuggle Jewish refugees onto his "perfect" island.

He finds that all is not perfect in that world, either.
