After killing Jody's (Michael Burns) father, bounty hunter Santee (Glenn Ford) takes in the boy and tries to establish a loving relationship with him. Jody, however, vows to avenge his father's death. When the sheriff is shot, Jody blames Santee, but the real killers are a gang of outlaws–the same ones who had earlier killed Santee's father. Santee wants to prove his innocence, and Jody goes along with Santee to track down the outlaw gang. They find the gang but suffer tragedy in the process.

"The Return of the Archons" (aired 2/9/1967, stardate 3156.2)-The Enterprise is in danger of being absorbed by "The Body" on Beta III. The humans on the planet are controlled by a dictator-Landru-and Kirk and company must save the inhabitants and, then, themselves.
