New Zealand mountain hunter Gibbie (Donald Pleasence) discovers a wrecked plane that had been on a failed mission during World War II. The plane holds a cargo of $5 million in gold. Now, Barney (Ken Wahl), Sally (Lesley Ann Warren), and Gibbie set off in search of the plane and its cargo, but the evil Theo Brown (George Peppard) is hot on their trail in pursuit of the prize for himself.
