When Tammy goes before Judge Carver (Edgar Buchanan), he believes her story, and she and Annie are cleared of charges. Despite all of her problems, Tammy manages to find time to fall in love with her speech professor, Tom Freeman (John Gavin). The new theme song "Tammy Tell Me True" is introduced in this film.
