Thus, the honeymoon must be skipped. Johnny's mother (Lucile Watson) moves in with the couple and is hypocritical of everything Jane does. Later, when their baby is born, more problems rise to the fore, and the marriage appears doomed. Then, on New Years Eve, their baby son becomes ill with pneumonia. Johnny appeals to Judge Doolittle for help in obtaining the needed medicine, and he comes to their aid–saving both the baby and the marriage as well.

When they learn that no rancher was killed, the cowboys' reaction is to search for the truth and bring justice to the killing of three innocent men. This film presents a psychological view of mob violence and its aftermath and is based on a true story that took place during 1885 in Nevada. A great Western that received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.

It's the mid-1800s and an invading force, led by Col. Karolyi (Douglas Fairbanks Jr.), takes over the castle of a ruling countess (Betty Grable). Karolyi falls in love with the countess, while she seeks advice from a deceased, female ancestor who dealt with a similar problem over 200 years ago. Not much here, but there are a few good songs. Director Lubitsch died shortly after the start of filming; Otto Preminger completed the film without credits.

She decides that she needs a side interest, so she brings home an eccentric piano player (Burgess Meredith), another patient of her psychologist. Larry has his work cut out for him if he wants to save his marriage. A cute comedy with a fine cast–Burgess Meredith is a hoot.
