  Re-cut and shortened to 70 minutes, this film was made from "The Rebel Son," an English language version of the 1936 French film "Tarass Boulba." It tells the story that includes battles in the 1500s between the Polish and Cossacks. Harry Baur takes on the role of warrior Taras Bulba. The story was remade in 1962 as "Taras Bulba."
