There's a good mix of music and action in this film as Roy Rogers is on the trail of Jean Loring's (Stephanie Bachelor) gang of poachers. Roy must stop this off-season shooting while also dealing with another bad guy, Matt Wilkes (Roy Barcroft), who murdered Roy's friend, the game warden. While Roy seeks justice, he runs into problems, which include almost freezing to death in the meat locker where the slaughtered game are stored. Songs include "Springtime in the Sierras," "A Cowboy has to Sing," "Pedro from Acapulco," and "Oh, What a Picture."
