This fine drama concerns a family's frantic search for journalist Charles Horman (John Shea) who disappeared during a coup in Chile. Jack Lemmon plays the father who teams up with his daughter-in-law (Sissy Spacek) in an attempt to uncover the truth in a very tense situation. The film received an Oscar for Best Screenplay and was nominated for three others: Best Picture, Actor, and Actress.
