Orchestra leader Danny O'Keefe (Kenny Baker) is drafted into the Army and sent to Ireland where he helps entertain the troops. He strikes up a romance with a local girl (Jeff Donnell), but things get dicey when his state-side girlfriend (Lynn Merrick) shows up as part of a USO troupe. Not much, but another one of many such World War II tension-relievers.
