Victoria (Brinke Stevens) suffers nightmares about being buried alive and seeks help from a therapist, Dr. Julia Harcourt (Karen Black). Meanwhile, Victoria's husband, Terry (Jay Richardson), is having an affair with his secretary, Lisa (Delia Sheppard), and is plotting Victoria's murder–a bad move because it will drive Victoria completely insane–running off, wielding a knife, and disappearing into the night.
