Burt Reynolds is the voice of the rogue German Shepherd and Dom DeLuise is "Itchy" in this beautifully animated Don Bluth story set in the low-life area of New Orleans. Charlie B. Barkin (Reynolds) returns to Earth to do a good deed. The characters are interesting, and, the film is fun to watch.

John Alcott's photography makes this movie worth watching. The film received four Oscars as well as receiving nominations for Best Picture, Director, and Writing.
