Gloria (Sharon Stone) is released from prison after taking the rap for her boyfriend, Kevin (Jeremy Northam). When she arrives at Kevin's place, she robs him and makes off with a seven-year-old boy, Nicky (Jean-Luke Figueroa), whose family has been murdered by one of Kevin's hit men. While Kevin may have written Nicky and Gloria off, this time it doesn't work because Nicky has a computer disk Kevin needs. So, the chase is on.
