College professor Miranda Hollander (Helena Mattsson) suffers a blackout and awakens amidst mutilated bodies. She is a suspect in the gruesome murders and goes to her scientist Uncle Tom (Ben Cross) for help. To her surprise, he informs Miranda that she is a creation of an ex-colleague, scientist Forbes McGuire (Dominic Keating) who lives in Mexico. Now, Miranda and Tom set off to Mexico to locate her creator and find a cure. But the cure unleashes her extraterrestrial side, Miranda's killer instincts rise to the fore, and now the entire human race is in jeopardy.
