It has been eight years since Sara was the only one who escaped from the house on Haunted Hill. No one believed Sara when she told them that ghosts killed the others who were with her for that night of terror. Now, after Sara apparently committed suicide, her sister Ariel (Amanda Righetti) and Paul (Tom Riley) go to Sara's apartment, and they meet Professor Richard Vannacutt (Jeffrey Combs) who is searching for Sara's journal as a lead to finding the cursed statue of Baphomet that is worth millions and is believed to cause evil doings within the House. Later, treasure hunter Desmond (Erik Palladino) kidnaps Ariel and Paul, and they are taken to the House where others await. The doors close, and this time the reawakened ghosts set out to make sure that not one soul escapes.
