This sequel to "Horror of Dracula" again features Christopher Lee as Count Dracula. Dracula then turns Alan's wife Helen (Barbara Shelley) into a vampire. Meanwhile, the remaining tourists seek refuge, but Dracula and his new vampire are on their trail.

This is a good remake of the 1932 original Boris Karloff film. The story is about an archaeological dig during which British archaeologist John Banning (Peter Cushing) desecrates the tomb of Princess Ananka (Yvonne Furneaux) and awakens Ananka's lover Kharis (Christopher Lee) who was buried with her. Kharis, the Mummy, returns to life and follows Banning back to England to seek revenge. Dire consequences ensue when Kharis finds that Banning's wife (also played by Furneaux) very closely resembles Ananka.

They decide to hide them in the warden's safe, and wait to be released. That works, but problems lie in their future.
