When Rigas' colleague Dr. John Lawrence (Samuel S. Hinds) wants him to stop the experiment, Rigas orders Dan to kill him. The deed is done, but Dan is arrested and sentenced to the electric chair where he absorbs the electricity and again becomes a superhuman–now ready to seek revenge.
