  This BBC miniseries adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel revolves around doddering lawyers who are handling the Jarndyce and Jarndyce case at the Court of the Chancery in London. As the inheritance case drags on and ruins lives, the lawyers still collect money.

  This unusual sci-fi film is entertaining. A new planet is found by a British agency headed by Jason Webb (Patrick Wymark) in the 21st Century. The reason that it had not been found earlier is that it is in an orbit identical to Earth's, but directly opposite Earth on the other side of the Sun. British astrophysicist John Kane (Ian Hendry) and American astronaut Colonel Glenn Ross (Roy Thinnes) set off on an expedition to investigate the phenomenon with interesting results.

  Gambler Barney Lincoln (Warren Beatty) breaks into the playing card manufacturing company and alters the printing plates to mark the cards so that he can win at the casinos. His plans go awry because his new lover, Angel (Susannah York), just happens to be the daughter of Scotland Yard Inspector "Manny" McGinnis (Clive Revill). When Angel learns that Barney is using marked cards, she tells her father. "Manny" then makes a deal with Barney to play in a high-stakes poker game with international drug dealer Harry Dominion (Eric Porter), as the means of taking all of his money so that "Manny" can catch Dominion.
