  During World War II, American espionage agent Joe Barton (George Raft) is sent to Ankara where he is given an envelope containing maps showing where the Germans will invade Turkey. Nazi agent Colonel Robinson (Sidney Greenstreet) knows about the maps and orders his agents to severely beat Barton, but he is rescued by Turkish official Zaloshoff (Peter Lorre) and his sister Tamara (Brenda Marshall). The maps are stolen by Robinson's agents, and the chase is on as Barton will stop at nothing to retrieve them.

C.A.Bruce (George Raft) is on the scene to clear it all up.

Burt Bacharach provided the good musical score. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song ("The Look of Love").

He thinks that he has found a solution when he makes a deal to help "Hood" escape if "Hood" will help Frank prove his own innocence. "Hood" escapes but does nothing to help Frank until Frank's reporter girlfriend Joyce (Jane Bryan) steps in and convinces "Hood" to identify the real killer, Peter Kassock (John Wray), as the man who framed Frank. It turns out that Peter is also at Rocky Point Prison, and now his fate is sealed.

But his problems really begin when gang boss "God" (Groucho Marx) orders Tony to do one more "job." He must get into the prison where his target, "Blue Chips" (Mickey Rooney), "resides." Tony ends up high on LSD, realizes he must get out of the prison, and with help from new-found prisoner friends gets the prison guards high on LSD and takes off in a balloon. Menawhile, Darlene has been taken hostage on "God's" yacht. And the wacky, weak film continues.

  Two out-of-work musicians (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon) witness the St. Valentine's Day Massacre and must escape from Chicago. Their vehicle is an all-girl band, which they join disguised as women. The fun begins as they hop on a train with their fellow band members and must keep up the disguise. Marilyn Monroe: "I always get the fuzzy end of the lollipop." The film won an Oscar for Best Costume Design and was nominated for five others, including Best Actor (Lemmon) and Director.    1 User Review

  While Nuggin (Gary Cooper) is being tried for the mass murder of slaves, his story is told in flashback. The British government then ordered Nuggin to sabotage the slave trade. This film is based on the true story that took place in Philadelphia during 1842.
