Jebediah Hawks (Jeff Chandler) commands and prepares his sailors for battle in the Pacific theater during World War II. Hawks trains his men and pretends to be a self-centered snob so that they will direct their frustrations at him instead of each other. MacDougall, however, sees what is going on and gives the sailors clues so that they will respect Hawks. The crew pulls together and manages to survive many Japanese attacks. Look fast for Clint Eastwood as a medic near the end of the film.

All goes well, and we're down to one last family when Ro-Man begins to display human-like emotions. Ultra-low budget, and yes, it is worthy of being a candidate for the "10 worst movies" list. In fact, Director Tucker attempted suicide after reading the reviews following the film's release.
