  Rocky (John Darrow) wins a boxing match, but it is part of gambler Flash McQuaid's (Mathew Betz) plan. The match was fixed, and McQuaid plans to stage more fixed fights and then have Rocky throw a championship fight. Plans go awry when Rocky meets and falls in love with church-going Mary (Merna Kennedy). Rocky decides to change his ways, but McQuaid has his own plans for Rocky and does not hold back in his efforts to rid Rocky of Mary's influence–he even kidnaps Mary's young brother, Arthur (Mickey Rooney). But, by story's end, all ends happily.

  Bob (Guinn "Big Boy" Williams) has been attending college in the East when he returns to his family in the West and learns that his father, Pecos (John Elliott) and Bob's half-brothers–Desolation, Hank, and Deadpan (Hal Taliaferro, Edmund Cobb, and Ace Cain)–are outlaws. Bob talks Pecos into relocating to Wyoming and going straight. Before they can leave, Marshal Hopkins (Steve Clark) kills Pecos, and the brothers want revenge. They kidnap the Marshal's daughter, Ruth (Marjorie Gordon), and offer her as the prize in a poker game. Bob has fallen for Ruth and battles his brothers for her. The brothers are captured by the Marshal, but it is not until they admit that Bob was never a part of the gang that Ruth returns his love.

When the deal fails, Bradley hires Lobo Joe (Roger Gray) and his gang instead, but Lobo and his gang rob both Bradley and Morgan. Meanwhile, Dog Town falls for Marion (Beth Marion) and later reveals that he is a Texas Ranger in disguise. He straightens things out, arrests the guilty culprits, and promises Marion that he will return.

  U.S. Marshal Dan Doran (Johnny Mack Brown) works with Golden Gap Sheriff Tom (Horace Murphy) in a scheme to stage a holdup and then get arrested so that he will be sent to prison where he can make friends with gang-member Jim Mitchell (George Ball). The plan works, and while in prison Dan does befriend Jim. They escape together, and Dan, working undercover, joins Jim's gang of stage robbers who are led secretly by bank manager Lige Branscomb (Alden "Stephen" Chase). Branscomb is courting Tess (Phyllis Hume), who Dan had earlier rescued, and Dan works with coffee shop owner Stella (Lois January) to save Tess from marrying Branscomb. Now, Dan realizes that he is in love with Stella, and they set out to live happily ever after.
