  This film was made five years before Disney made Davy Crockett a national craze. They lead a wagon train through the hostile Indian Territory, but someone in Crockett's military unit is spying on the wagon trains and tipping off the Indians who then attack. At first, Red Hawk is suspected, but he is vindicated when the real culprit is revealed.

After many adventures and some good cliff-hangers, the good guys win.

Fifteen years later, Tim's long-lost brother Roy (Roy Rogers) returns to the family's ranch. Tasker is still in the area, controls the water supply, and charges the ranchers a fee for the water. Tim (now played by Don "Red" Barry) kills a farmer after Tasker orders him to do so. Now, Roy, not knowing that it is his brother who is Tasker's "nephew," organizes the ranchers into a vigilante group, and they set out to put an end to Tasker and his criminal activities.

  In the 1870s, Dr. John Saunders (George Montgomery) is sentenced to a Spanish penal colony in the Philippines run by Col. Salazar (Gilbert Roland). Salazar operates the prison in a humane manor based on democratic principles, but Inspector De Guzman (Nico Minardos) disapproves of Salazar's methods, and, in retaliation, Salazar destroys the prison. Now with De Guzman held hostage, Saunders and Salazar lead thousands of prisoners on a treacherous journey in search of a secluded valley where they can set up a new community.

Problems lie ahead, but Carver finally decides to go along with the deal and tracks down Bishop.
