Randy agrees because he wants to help bring down Feng. But, he must get back in shape, and blind ping-pong master Wong (James Hong) and his niece Maggie (Maggie Q.) take on the task. The road leads to the film's climax in Central America where the deadly ping-pong games transpire.

Alone for the first time, Chloe discovers her roots and depends on others–especially her new-found friend, a German shepherd named Delgado (voice of Andy Garcia)–to lead her to safety. Meanwhile, Sam and Papi arrive to help Rachel search for Chloe somewhere in Mexico.

A mechanical failure erases "Bud's" vote, and, as Bud waits to recast his vote, it becomes known that the close, national election rests on Bud's one vote that will decide for whom New Mexico casts its electoral votes. Now the media, including local journalist Kate Madison (Paula Patton), jumps on the story, and the candidates–Republican incumbent President Andrew Boone (Kelsey Grammer) and Democratic liberal Donald Greenleaf (Dennis Hopper) sweep into town, catering to Bud's every whim in hopes of gaining that one deciding vote.
