  When wealthy Mme. Bonfamille (voice of Hermione Baddeley) dies, she leaves her fortune to her cat Duchess (voice of Eva Gabor) and her three kittens. The jealous butler, Edgar (voice of Roddy Maude-Roxby), abandons the cats in the French countryside so that he will have the fortune. But, there are rescuers out there in the form of alley cat Thomas O'Malley (voice of Phil Harris), mouse Roquefort (voice of Sterling Holloway), and hounds Lafayette and Napoleon (voices of George Lindsey and Pat Buttram) who come to their aid, and by story's end the cats are back home where they belong.

  In this Disney animated version of the classic tale, animals take on all of the roles. The storyline fits with the legend of Robin Hood and his gang who steals from the rich and gives to the poor because Prince John (voice of Peter Ustinov) is overtaxing them for his own personal gains.

Typical Disney family comedy which ends with a wild and wacky snowmobile race.

Maclin organizes the brewery's blue-collar workers who include his old buddies Harry Meade and Ray Binkowski (David Keith and Tim Thomerson). He also finds his ex-girlfriend "J.M." (Barbara Hershey), and their relationship picks up where it once left off. When Frank learns that Pickett is going to resell the brewery, he must consider his position with the company vs. the interests of his worker friends and, in the process, make some very serious choices.
