  During the early 1970s, an American pimp, Jack Flowers (Ben Gazzara), is in Singapore where he provides women for British and American businessmen, but local mobsters soon put Flowers out of business. Flowers is approached by a an American mobster, Eddie Schuman (Peter Bogdanovich), who offers Flowers the job of pimping to provide services for U.S. soldiers on leave in Singapore. Complications ensue when Flowers is asked to take compromising pictures.
