This made-for-cable TV Western is the second film based on a novel by Jack Schaefer. Monte (Tom Selleck) and pal Chet (Keith Carradine) are cowhands and bronco busters, a dying breed in Wyoming near the end of the 19th century. Monte's girlfriend "Countess" Martine (Isabella Rossellini) tries to convince him to take a regular job, but Monte still yearns for the scant wide-open space that remains. When a cowboy is laid off, Monte deals with one last confrontation.

Second String 2002 TV, 95 min. Genre: Comedy
Director: Robert Lieberman Cast: Gil Bellows, Jon Voight, Teri Polo, Richard T. Jones, George Eads, Charles Malik Whitfield, Shawn Woods, Lamont Johnson, Mike Ditka, Doug Flutie, Evan Parke
The Buffalo Bills make it to the playoffs–but not without problems. The entire first-string offensive unit gets food poisoning and the team must rely on over-the-hill benchwarmers. Will Coach Ditcher (Jon Voight) bring them together and win the games leading to the Super Bowl and then the Super Bowl itself? Sounds a lot like "The Replacements" with the normal cliches in this made-for-TV film.
