In this satirical look at "15 minutes of fame," overweight loser Dennis Flotchky (Michael Panes) enters a reality show for weight loss, "Surviving Eden," in which the winning contestant will take home one million dollars. Dennis loses 200 lbs., gains his own fan club, and wins the big prize. He has found fame, but it goes to his head. Soon, his money is stolen, he is into drugs, loses his self-respect, and pays the emotional price for his fame.
