Monty is a mechanic who works long hours but is financially strapped in raising his three little girls as a single father. Although Monty tries to protect the girls from their trashy, drug-dealing mother (Tasha Smith) who is now threatening to take them from him, the fight for custody will require Julia's legal skills. But, will that be enough, and will Julia's and Monty's differences prove too great as they try to win the custody fight?

With Jim's help, their lives changed for the better, and the swim team was formed.
