Once there he teams up with Holm (Bjorn Sundquist), a quiet scientist, and Randbek (Stellan Skarsgard), a crude trapper/recluse. As they try to survive the cruel winter, depending on each other, it also becomes clear that all isn't well in the relationship between Larsen and Randbek. A powerful film, with both psychological and physical action.
