Keoma (Franco Nero) returns home from the Civil War hoping for some rest and relaxation, but his plans must be put on hold when a ruthless gang leader, Caldwell (Donald O'Brien), threatens the peace-loving people of the community. To make matters worse, his three half-brothers, who have always resented half-breed Keoma, are aligned with Caldwell. A violent film, but a cut above the normal spaghetti Western–and one of the last of the genre.
