Their sergeant, Katczinsky (Louis Wolheim), briefs them on how to survive, but that night one of them is shot, and they learn that they are low on supplies and food. Now, they face days and nights fighting from the trenches and realize that fighting for their country is not what they had once believed it would be. The film won Academy Awards for Best Picture and Director.

The Security Force hires ace detective Lebel (Michel Lonsdale) to track down the Jackal before he kills DeGaulle. The Jackal now assumes a new identity that will make it even more difficult for Lebel to catch him before he completes the assassination. And the mystery deepens.

  This is the greatest musical I have ever seen or directed. I have directed and sung in many, many musicials, and I still have a fondness and respect for "Oklahoma". It has everything; great dancing, humor, nice plot and semi plot, very nice orchestration, beautiful solos and ensemble singing and great scenery! RB
