The year is 2012 AD, and a biological plague has wiped out most of Earth's population. Baron (Max Von Sydow) and his pregnant daughter Melinda (Joanna Miles) are among the survivors in a barricaded neighborhood that is threatened by thugs, led by Carrot (William Smith). After Baron hires super-Samurai Carson (Yul Brynner) to come to their aid, Carson single-handedly fights the gangs and even delivers Melinda's baby.
