  Tex (Tex Ritter) is on the rodeo circuit looking for his brother's killer. It appears that rodeo performers are being poisoned, and Tex is targeted since he has been winning too many events. Tex thwarts the efforts with the help of Carmen (Rita Hayworth) and wins. Meanwhile, the gang causing the trouble robs a bank and uses a wagon containing dynamite for the getaway. But, again, Tex is there when needed.
