Molly Ringwald deserves the half-star for this otherwise piece of trash. Film students set out to complete a horror film that had been started years before and stopped when the director died. But there was more involved with stopping the film than that, and the students find out when the killing starts. So bad that the film may well develop a cult following.

This is a remake of the original Disney "The Incredible Journey." Animals and voices blend into a delightful rendition of an adventure taken by two dogs–young bulldog Chance (voice of Michael J. Fox) and old golden retriever Shadow (voice of Don Ameche)– and one Himalayan cat Sassy (voice of Sally Field). Mistakenly believing that their owners have deserted them, their adventure takes them from their home in Oregon on an incredible trek across the Sierras that happily ends with a family reunion on Thanksgiving Day.
