Featured in this film is a very young Rita Cansino–soon to change her name to Rita Hayworth.

They travel to New England and learn that Ananka's soul has been taken over by an exchange student, Amina Mansouri (also played by Ames), who is studying with Egyptologist Norman (Frank Reicher) and has a boyfriend Tommy (Robert Lowery). Kharis stalks Amina, and when he learns that Yousef Bey is in love with his princess, he kills him. Now, with his reincarnated princess in his arms, the Mummy sinks into a bog and disappears. Followed by "The Mummy's Curse."

  This is good entertainment with Danny Kaye at his best as Walter Mitty, the shy book editor, whose fantasies bring excitement into his otherwise dreary existence when he imagines himself in the middle of the stories. When he is handed a little black book, his dreams turn into reality and Mitty is in the middle of a conspiracy concerning Dutch crown jewels that have been missing since World War II.

  With Germany being a big international threat just two years before World War II, this movie takes up the theme.
