  On Christmas Eve, the local priest marches Frank Pesce Jr. (Anthony LaPaglia) to police headquarters. Frank had been throwing snowballs to break church windows. While in custody, Frank relates the story of how his life has been cursed with good luck while his father (Danny Aiello) has endured nothing but bad fortune. Now, NY officials have just announced the first State Lottery winner. Frank's father bought many tickets, but Frank bought only one. You guessed it, Frank won the prize and is having trouble dealing with the repercussions.
