When the group goes missing, Travis sends former CIA operative Karen Ross (Laura Linney) into the jungles in search of the group and the diamonds. Karen travels with a researcher of ape development, Peter (Dylan Walsh), and a Romanian, Herkermer (Tim Curry), who is searching for the Lost City of Zinj. Once they reach Africa, they are met by "great white hunter" Monroe Kelly (Ernie Hudson). While on their journey, they encounter a danger they had not planned on in the form of bloodthirsty gorillas. Special effects are a good addition to the story. 1 User Review
